My Travel Story
Apart from enjoying the beauty and history of new destinations, travel feeds our dreams and our sense of adventure. After all, the anticipation of a new travel experience is half the fun! It also increases our confidence and the ability to make decisions, and new experiences raise tolerance and appreciation for the diversities beyond our borders.
One of my greatest travel memories is probably the one that started it all: my first time, as a 10-year-old girl, on a plane to Newfoundland with my mom and my sister on our way to Bonavista. It felt like we were visiting the edge of the world and I was fascinated with the ocean, the culture, the people and the customs. It was a whole new world outside of Ottawa and I loved it!
