Additional Terms and Conditions with Regards to your Purchase.

PLEASE NOTE YOUR INVOICE RECEIPT IS NOT YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS.

PLEASE REFER TO YOUR ACTUAL TRAVEL DOCUMENTS FOR FLIGHT TIMES AND CONFIRMATION NUMBERS ETC.

CHECK IN INFORMATION

Domestic flights – check in 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.

International flights – check in 3 hours prior to scheduled departure.

Charter flights – check in 2-3 hours prior to scheduled departure.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR TRAVEL / HEALTH

Valid passports are mandatory for most destinations for all passengers regardless of age. A visa may also be required. Proper documentation does not guarantee entry into another country. It is recommended you check with your physician or travel clinic prior to leaving your country of residence for vaccination updates, etc. We will advise of any major outbreaks or concerns that we are aware of. If your travel documents are not valid and in order you may be refused boarding. You will be responsible for any cost incurring in catching up with your vacation and no refund will be issued. A criminal record can lead to denial of entry of passage to destination. Identification must match travel documents. Children and infants require proof of citizenship and identification. SPECIAL NOTARIZED DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINORS AND ALSO CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE TRAVELLING WITHOUT BOTH PARENTS. CHILDREN MAY ALSO NEED NOTARIZED DOCUMENTS IF PARENTS HAVE JOINT CUSTODY AND CHILD IS TRAVELLING WITH ONE PARENT ONLY. You will be advised of documentation required.   You may also wish to register your passport number with Foreign Affairs Canada prior to departure especially if traveling to a country that may be unstable.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is highly recommended. According to the travel industry regulation, we are required to review insurance with all passengers or the purchaser about insurance options when travel is purchased through our agency. Although insurance is highly advised, it is completely optional. We will not be held responsible for any expenses incurred for your refusal to purchase travel insurance or a component of the insurance. OHIP does not cover you completely out of the country for medical expenses. Many credit card companies do not cover you as much as you may think or may have many restrictions.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Change fees and cancellation fees are as per your tour operator brochure or airline . Our agency may also include professional fees for administration that are non-refundable or subject to penalties if cancelled.

RE-CONFIRMATION OF FLIGHTS

Flight times are always tentative and subject to change.

We recommend that you reconfirm your flight 24 hours in advance of departure. We also recommend reconfirming your flights again 6 hours prior to departure. You can either check with the airline’s reconfirmation number, your hotel, or contact us directly. We will not be held responsible for any missed flights due to schedules changes made by the airline.

PRICE

No price increase is permitted unless otherwise noted on the front of this invoice or you incur penalties based on changes you made voluntarily. Any service fees issued by Goliger’s TravelPlus are non-refundable. The price quotes for your travel purchase was the lowest price found by our consultants at time of booking. Your payment accepts all terms and conditions and price quoted. No price adjustments can or will be made should a vendor reduce the price after your deposit or payment has been received. Fuel surcharges may be imposed by airline or tour operator if trip is not paid in full.

CONNECTING FLIGHT

Passengers booking connecting flights should allow 3 hours (preferably overnight) between the connecting flight and a charter. We cannot be held liable for damages or additional fees incurring by customers due to a missed flight connection, whatever the reason.

REP SERVICE AND PROBLEM HANDLING

If you have any queries or problems, please raise them (at destination) with your tour operator representative and the hotel management during your stay. Please do not leave your complaint until you return home.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Some facilities and standards in foreign countries may differ from those in North America. Our agency makes travel arrangements through tour operators, airlines, hotels and other independent parties to provide you with the travel services and other services you purchase. Although we take care in selecting these suppliers, we have no control over them and therefore cannot re responsible for their acts or omissions. We will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury, whether physical or mental, or to property resulting from delay, substitution, or deficiency of quality of equipment or service, or any act, omission, negligence or commission of any party supplying any of the services or accommodation herein, its agents, servants, employees, subcontractors or for any claims for such loss, damage, or injury, whether physical or mental, arising there from, or from any cause that arises by reason of actions of parties other than our agency, Goliger’s TravelPlus. If tour operators or airlines cancel flights, we will offer alternate transportation or travel wherever possible. Any additional compensation may be provided at the vendor’s discretion or as outlined in their brochure, according to the vendor the trip was purchased through.
